This model house is the cover of Country Living Magazine 1992 issue. An American bungalow embodies the distinctive architectural detail and intrinsic charm of craftman-style cottages.

At first I used Corel draw to plot and trace images, then Photoshop for some bumps and textures, finally 3d max to build it up and rendered.

"Kanto" means corner, I model a corner part of an old house with effects of volumetric light to give the impression of sunlight passing through windows and creating a blocking shadow to the object inside.
